Who We Are
Pompallier Catholic School was established in 1958 in Kaitaia in the sub-tropical far north of the North Island of Kaitaia and is a decile 4 primary school. With six classrooms, extensive well-maintained grounds, an administration block and a new library, we are well resourced and cater for up to 174 students in years 1 to 8.
Pompallier Catholic School has a proud history of academic excellence and is staffed by experienced and dedicated people. Our staff work in a collegial and collaborative team environment. The school is well resourced with the latest digital computer technology.

Foyer
Students learn in a bright and well resourced environment where Gospel values and a caring, sharing family atmosphere is paramount.
The school is blessed to have the St Joseph's Parish Church on site, which is in close proximity for weekly Mass.
As a school we are well supported by our families, the Parish and community. Our students are motivated keen learners who are high achievers and are involved in a wide range of scholastic and extra curricula activities.
